Facts:

Distance – 206 Kms.

Days To Complete – 1 Day.

Road Conditions – Winding mountainous road.

The tour starts at one of the most visited cities of Thailand, Chiang Mai. Here, the fellow bikers meet and greet each other, and get geared up with the biking gear and bikes. The briefing is given about the local history of the place, how the roads would be, what precautions one needs to take, the geography of the area, and address any personal questions of the tour participants. The Q&A session is held during the briefing to ensure that any and all concerns of the members are fully answered, and all doubts are cleared before the tour commences.

The Tour starts by riding on the highway towards the south of Chiang Mai en route Doi Inthanon National Park, which is 2,565 above the sea level and is the highest peak in Thailand. The highway takes you through the magnificent pinewood forest, which presents a beautiful backdrop throughout the highway. The roads through the mountain are winding and fun for the riders who look for the challenges.

During the journey, we visit some of the Thailand’s best nature trails, botanical gardens, Royal Pagodas, and one of the oldest markets in the region, Hmong Hill Tribe Village local market. We halt at the famous National Park headquarter restaurant for a delicious Thai meal during lunch time.

The return journey takes place through the serene and picturesque Canal road that passes the farm land. While returning, the backdrop of the beautiful sunset makes for the perfect ending of the journey.

I wanted to take the one day tour to get the glimpse of the Thailand I haven’t seen or experienced before. It was a fun trip, especially because I was riding, which I simply love. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the hidden treasures and natural beauty of Thailand and loves riding.
